“I am afraid that digging at Alipasino Polje or some other
locations in search of missing Serbs is nothing but a deception and a
bad lead, since it is known that the bodies of missing Serbs from
Sarajevo were mostly relocated to Visoko and some other locations,”
Mitrovic told SRNA.
He claims the FBiH government institutions and former members of the
Federal Missing Persons Commission, who are currently working at the
BiH Missing Persons Institute, know the best where the bodies of killed
Sarajevo Serbs were relocated to, since they took part in exhumations
conducted during the war “allegedly for sanitary reasons.”
BiH prosecutor Eldar Jahic has recently ended, without the consent
of authorised representatives of the BiH Missing Persons Institute, the
exhumation at the Alipasino Polje community in Sarajevo, where mortal
remains believed to be of Serbs killed in Sarajevo in 1992 were
discovered.
The Commission Investigating the Killing of Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks,
Jews and Others in Sarajevo in 1992-1995, has been completely
forgotten, even though a report on its operations, on which KM 340,000
was spent, has never been produced.
The Commission, which should have investigated the killing of Serbs in Sarajevo, ceased operating in June 2007.
