”The period or a stage when there
was an interference of the OHR or the international community is long
gone. We have taken some concrete steps to reduce the damage incurred to
us by the bad situation at the national level. Whenever you are
supposed to resolve practical issues in the interest of citizens, they
do nothing at that level, nothing ever gets resolved there,” she said.
In countless cases when issues of crucial importance for the actual
citizens’ needs were supposed to be raised, the national level failed to
give any kind of response, she said.
As an example of that, Cvijanović mentioned the absence of an
agreement on blue diesel and the Federation’s violation of the RS
pensioners’ rights.
”To that effect, the Government decided to intervene in this way and
make sure that our babies get their identification numbers, because our
objective is to ensure that all our citizens enjoy the rights they are
entitled to,” the Prime Minister told reporters in Foča on Wednesday.
The Government of the Republic of Srpska passed on Tuesday the
Regulation on Defining a Registration Area for Determining the Personal
Identification Number of Citizens, which regulates the manner of
determining JMBG in the Republic of Srpska.
