After a meeting in Belgrade, Dacic said that he expects that
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will soon meet with the BiH
Presidency, and announced the two countries will hold a forum twice a
year.
He said that Serbia, as a guarantor of the Dayton Agreement, remains
committed to respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of
BiH, and will support every agreement which is accepted by all the three
peoples and the two Entities.
Dacic said that Serbia is committed to developing good neighbourly
relations, and stressed the need for cooperation in the economy,
culture, military economy, and access to third markets.
Dacic said that Serbia also wants good relations with the FBiH.
Bevanda said that he is satisfied with the meeting, adding that no
mediators are needed between him and Dacic. “I think that we all of us
in the region have enough brains, education and knowledge not to need
any mediators,” Bevanda said.
He said that it is important for the two countries to jointly apply for EU pre-accession funds.
Bevanda said that the issue of the Serbian-BiH border is the subject
of speculation, and that there are only four disputable points, which
experts will define, after which a political agreement will be reached.
