Galijasevic says that the Ibrahim Millet was active in BiH under the
same name. Its main seat was in Sarajevo and it had offices in a number
of larger towns in the FBiH.
“The ties of Salafi organisations in BiH to similar organisations in
Germany go by way of the Call to Heaven Organisation headed by the Turk
Muhammad Seifudin Chiftchi – Abu Anas. They are all connected with the
Call to Heaven in Tuzla,” Galijasevic says.
He says that these are all residuals of the Mujahideen movement and
Active Islamic Youth, banned in BiH in 2007, which continued operations
within other organisations. Members of the group are, among others,
Bilal Bosnic, Nedim Haracic and Adnan Pezo, who are connected with their
supporters all over the world.
Confrontation with Islamists started three years ago in Germany with the ban of the IHH Foundation from Turkey.
Galijasevic noted that six Salafi organisations, which were banned
by the UN Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee, are active in
the FBiH under other names.
“Residuals of the mujahideen formations from El Mujahid Detachment
and the 7th Muslim Brigade of Zenica are in these offices in Sarajevo,
Zenica, Travnik, Tuzla, Bihac,” Galijasevic says.
According to him, these formations have as of late been concentrated
around Mostar, which is an obvious indication that they are monitoring
political tensions and taking part in all ethnic and religious conflicts
in society.
Security services in BiH, Galijasevic says, do not want to disturb
the terrorists so as not to “provoke them,” even though they have
requests from their colleagues from western countries to check on their
operations.
“The Germans do not trust the political elites in BiH since they do
not have an adequate partner for the fight against various forms of
extremism which in these parts are domiciled. Germany knows this very
well and that is why it is punishing the whole of BiH,” Galijasevic
concludes.
The German Interior Ministry said that the Islamic-Salafi
organisations, Dava FFM, Islamische Audios and An Nushrah, want to
replace democracy with the Sharia.
