Members of the Russian Alliance of Paratroopers, headed by Gen.
Nikolay Viktorovich, welcomed the Republika Srpska delegation at the
Sheremetyevo Airport.
Djokic said that the delegation was accorded a special honour as
they were welcomed by members of the most elite unit of the Russian
Army, stressing that the people of Republika Srpska owe a great
gratitude to Russian volunteers and veterans of airborne units who took
part in peace operations in BiH and thus contributed to preserving
stability and peace.
Djokic will visit the Nameless Peak Memorial Complex in Betlica, in
the Kaluzyskaya Oblast, where he will place a wreath at the foot the
monument to soldiers killed in WWII and will also attend an air show
occasioned by the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the city of
Belgorod.
An evening of Russian-Serbian friendship will be held in honour of
Djokic’s visit, where veterans of peace missions in the Balkans will
gather.
