At a meeting of four political parties in Mostar, which was
called only one day after the FBiH Cabinet did not adopt an item from the
agenda on a vote about requests from both Houses of the FBiH Parliament for a
vote of non confidence in the Cabinet, it was concluded that they will now wait
for the 30-day deadline, which will expire on February 11, said HDZ 1990
president Bozo Ljubic.
Ljubic said after the meeting that now all conditions are
right to return a vote of no confidence in the Cabinet.
He said that SBB president Fahrudin Radoncic, on whose
initiative the meeting was called, informed other participants of his recent
meetings in Brussels which dealt with BiH’s European road and the
implementation of the Sejdic-Finci ruling.
“We will try in January to find ways to implement the
Sejdic-Finci ruling, and in the middle of February a meeting of six political
parties should be held to deal with this issue,” Ljubic said.
Regarding grave warnings from the EU, Ljubic said that they
took them very seriously, which was evident in today’s meeting, since BiH very
much needs to get candidate status.
The EU Enlargement Commissioner, Stefan Fule, yesterday sent
the message to representatives of the BiH authorities that two myths should be
dispelled when it comes to implementing the Sejdic-Finci ruling.
