Cvijanovic said that by investing in the construction of Bloc 3 of the Ugljevik Thermal Power Plant, the president of the Comsar Energy Company, Rashid Serdarov, as a serious investor, has started a large investment cycle which amounts to 750 million euros.

“He combined this project with the hydro-energy facility which requires the construction of the Mrsovo power plant worth 200 million euros,” Cvijanovic told reporters after the signing of a memorandum of strategic cooperation with the China Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation.

According to her, it is very important that this investment does not eopardise the existing thermal power plant and that the new facility will enable the employment of a great number of people.

“I am certain that this fact will be well understood despite efforts to distort the picture, and that everyone who now has a job should support others to get jobs as well,” Cvijanovic said.

She assessed as important the fact that Serdarov decided to invest in Srpska and that these investments will contribute to realising the goals the Republika Srpska authorities have set, which pertain to overcoming the crisis, drawing investors and creating as many jobs a possible.
